  • Wireframe dome — upper hemisphere, sitting on the wall down to your measured floor height
  • N / E / S / W — cardinal directions at the dome wall
  • Small bar — OTA
  • Amber line — optical axis
  • Glowing strip — the shutter door, full height, tracking azimuth only, like a real slit dome
  • Thin ring at the dome surface — each OTA's actual aperture footprint; if it pokes past the door's edge, that part is vignetted
  • Rust-colored skyline — your local horizon limit, from the Local Horizon card
  • Blue arc — the celestial equator (Dec=0), traced on the dome shell; genuinely tilts with latitude, crossing the horizon due East and due West
  • Bright dot — the elevated celestial pole, at altitude = your latitude on the North (or South) horizon-to-zenith line, where a polar-aligned GEM's RA axis points; HA=0 and GEM meridian flips happen along that same line
